New Blog Policy

I've put in a more in depth Blog Policy. It's linked in the sidebar.

As I've said before, I don't particularly like having to have one, but I learned the hard way. At least by having one, everyone knows where they stand.

If anyone is ever in any doubt as to what the policy of this blog is, it's in the sidebar.

As with my novel blog, I will always alert readers the instant I alter, amend or extend the policy, just so no one can ever say that they didn't know the policy.

Than--kyou.

Wow, I just read it, all people need is some common sense and basic manners, they are free but lacking in some :)

It's a shame that such things need to be laid out, but not everyone seems attuned to basic decency.

On the subject of democratic values where blogging is concerned, did you hear that a blog called England Expects has been closed down by the EU?

Reeny- I think so. I put a lot of thought into drafting the new policy, and it will no doubt be added to and expanded, Kind of like a blog constitution.

At the end of the day, my URL, my password to log in, my template, my rules.
If people don't like it, they don't have to click the link.

Nunyaa- General speaking visitors here seem to be nice, kind, thoughtful and generally courteous people.
Which is why so often, it's very pleasant to be host to you all. I have nice readers, on the whole. And given the fact that generally speaking posts here are often long, and quite often controversial, I consider that to be an achievement in itself.

However, we've had the odd problem visitor, and I want problem visitors to be clear on the consequences of being a problem visitor.

I know have a procedure in place which will stand up in any court of law.

Ginro- It's the ability to hide behind a terminal, I think.

There are a few people out there who were clearly bullied at school.

I had seen it on several blogs. It has had me pondering.
I'm lucky that my boss knows about this blog, he doesn't read it, he understands it would kind of be a breach of trust if he did, but he really doesn't care WHAT I write, unless company details start appearing.

Interestingly, I may well be posting on Europe tonight.
