Maybe I Didn't Draw SUCH a Bad Hand After All

This post still exists, those of you who have read it.

It has been removed because there is no need for it to remain public.
Like with all such posts, it has been saved.

The overall issue behind it should be treated as resolved.

This at least, is my own hope.

Well I am glad you are feeling a bit more light hearted... I have been worried about you.

I wish I still had my father around to hassle me and call me, embrace what he truly means to you as he won't be around forever. Having said that, I should apply the same to my mother but alas, she will burn in hell .

Now why am I not surprised? You just had to give him a chance Crushed. Most parents will defend their children to the death, trust me on this. One day you will too.

Being too similar is always a problem because you see the things in the other that you don't like about yourself.

I'm a bit of a Dad's girl myself and my Dad is my saviour...I'd be absolutely lost without him.

Chin up and glad you've had some special time with your Pa.

I hope this drink provides both the support he needs and a little light-hearted pleasure as well.

Sorry I haven't been around lately. I have fallen off on everyone's blogs with moving and trips and so forth.

The phone call shows just how much he cares :-) and it must feel good to know he is on your side.

There other things I could comment on regarding your reply but it best not do that here!

Take care :-) xx

I see why it had to go but I thought it was a very nice post in many ways about Papa Crushed and I enjoyed reading it.
I'm not sorry to see the comments pruned. Very wise.
